The Frigstad Offshore managed semi-submersible drilling rig Kan Tan IV has started a two well drilling contract for AWE Taranaki Limited offshore New Zealand. The rig has just completed drilling of the Manaia-2 and Matuku-1 wells for OMV New Zealand in the Taranaki basin.
